Designing 33Bondi’s Website
One of the most humbling and rewarding moments of my time at 33Bondi was being entrusted with the design of the agency's very own website. Designing for a company that specializes in digital experiences was a unique challenge, as the expectations for both design quality and usability were naturally high.
Key Design Requirements:
The website needed to closely align with Google’s design philosophy, adopting Material Design (Material 2 at the time) to ensure a seamless, familiar experience for users. The goal was to make the interface feel inherently "Google-like," reinforcing 33Bondi’s connection and interoperability with Google’s ecosystem. This meant embracing clean layouts, intuitive navigation, and a modern, user-centric approach that mirrored Google’s own digital experiences.
One of the most interesting aspects was designing the articles' pages, which drew heavy inspiration from Medium; widely regarded at the time as the gold standard for long-form reading experiences. The result was a sleek, distraction-free reading experience that encouraged engagement while staying true to Material Design principles.
A lasting Impact
The website I designed for 33Bondi is still in use today (as of 2025), a testament to the solid UX/UI foundation it was built upon. Seeing my work continue to serve as the agency’s digital face is a source of immense pride.
